Who We Are
Welcome to Trinity Christian Center! We have been welcoming, loving, and serving the people of Soldotna since 1986.
Here are just a few things about us:
We are an Acts Chapter 2 church
“‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.’”
– Acts 2:17
We disciple our people and provide them with a strong foundation in the Word of God and prayer, so they are fully equipped to be active disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are a Biblical church
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip His people to do every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We firmly assert the infallibility of the Bible and all our sermons are backed by Scripture. Lead Pastor Sherry Morris points us to the Word of God weekly, saying, “The Bible says!”
We are a praying church
“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” – Ephesians 6:18
We believe in the importance of personal prayer for the individual believer’s walk with the Lord, and the power of corporate prayer for the healing of God’s people.
We are a fun church!

The Great Commission
“Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
– Matthew 28:19-20
“The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.”
– Matthew 11:15
What We Believe
We believe in one God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, died, buried, resurrected, ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
We believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the redemption.
We believe in water baptism, in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4).
We believe in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe that all of these are available to believers.
We believe in the soon coming return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
